Last October 14-15, our org, The Peer Facilitator’s Group had our annual team building. It was overnight but sadly, I didn’t made it during the first day because of lack of transportation and sea of people in Manila due to INC’s medical mission. So, we made it appoint that we will be there on the 2nd day because we, the seniors, are the activities’ facilitators.
Finally had the time and opportunity to get to know the baby peers! That’s the very quirky John Roberts Powers. Hahaha! Well, he really is John Roberts but we gave him a new nickname… Powers! (yes, that’s from the modeling school JRP. lol)
In which I try to be normal and went back to being me again. Lol.
The baby peers blindfolded while having no knowledge of us, taking pictures with them. Hee, sorry bbs!
One of the perks of being a senior is that you don’t have to join the activities but all you have to do is to facilitate. And while they’re busy doing their assigned tasks…
We’re I’m trying to reunite with the hula hoop. Haha!
…and goofing around with Twinny.
…and being a fangirl. Loljk. We’re supposed to have a twinny shot with the bilaos until those two were like.. "Sama kami!" So yes, there you go.
…and playing with Lee’s mini camera. I love it! Though you have to guess if you’ll get the right shot or whatever. You can’t see the outcome until you view it in your phone or computer using its memory card.
Say hi to my hungry self. Lol.
Right after the activities and lunch, we had a 1 hour break so what did we do? We jammed with these boys and sang songs from high school. (e.g, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus’ Your Guardian Angel, Thunder, FM Static’s songs, etc. throwback, indeed!)
For the last activities we did the pasahan thinggy using the straw. And of course, what we loved the most the dugtungan of songs! The last thing we did was saying words of affirmation to each other. Touching activity that was!
The seniors with our very young and lovely peer adviser, Ma’am Kath. Too bad we’re not complete.
And of course… GROUP PICTURES!
Gaining new friends is awesome. They call me “ate” though! Hahaha. It makes me sad to know that in a few months, I’ll no longer be part of these activities. </3
